Todd Howard wurde mal wieder in einem Interview ausgequetscht. Es kommen erneut nicht viele neue Informationen über den Stand der Dinge an's Tageslicht, interessant an der ganzen Sache ist jedoch, dass man sich im Hause Bethesda nun zu 100% auf Fallout 3 konzentriert. Die Arbeiten am vierten 'The Elder Scrolls'-Teil, 'Oblivion', sind mit dem Erscheinen des Expansion-Packs 'Shivering Isles' nun komplett abgeschlossen.

“Right now that’s the only expansion we have planned. We do all the stuff in-house so it’s all about bandwidth. We have pretty much everybody on Fallout 3 right now. It started off kind of small and then we add people to it and now the expansion’s done, all those people have come on to Fallout 3. That’s the thing we want to focus on right now, so I think I’d be surprised if we do another expansion.”


Unter anderem wird auch nochmal kurz auf Bethesdas kompletten Neuanfang bezüglich Fallout 3 eingegangen. Man hat, wie ja inzwischen allgemein bekannt ist, das halbfertige Van Buren verworfen und stattdessen alles neu ausgearbeitet. Todd hierzu:

“When something is as successful as Oblivion, it affords you a certain amount of freedom. You can take some more chances. We’ve always tried to do big crazy things but you can do it even more.”
