Auf Krawall.de ist ein kleiner Artikel über die Fallout 3-Präsentation auf der E3 aufgetaucht, der einige interessante Eindrücke übermittelt. Einige Auszüge:
Zunächst die gute Nachricht: Das Spiel bleibt der Serie in weiten Teilen treu. Dazu zählt zum einen der Look, den Bethesda in vielen Teilen schon sehr gut eingefangen hat. Wer den Teaser-Trailer kennt – der tatsächlich das Intro des Spiels darstellt und komplett in Spielgrafik abläuft – weiß hier schon in etwa bescheid.

Fast genau so wichtig: Der wunderbare Zynismus des Spiels wurde zumindest in der Demo ausgezeichnet eingefangen. Auch die extrem harte Gewalt des Spiels ist allerdings wieder mit dabei. Um eine Veröffentlichung in Deutschland darf gezittert werden.

Erster Gedanke: „Ich liebe diese 40er-Jahre-Songs aus „Fallout“ und der hier passt wie angegossen“.
Außerdem wurde eine große Fallout 3-Vorschau angekündigt, die noch mal alle bisher bekannten Fakten zusammenfasst. Eine Art großes Preview also. Ich denke, darauf darf man durchaus gespannt sein.

Irgendwie ist der ganze Artikel ziemlich wirr geschrieben. Ist André 14?
Mass Effect 2 is an RPG. The blue lesbian species are pretty much elves, and biotics are magic. It probably has some lightsaber ripoff too.
Call of Duty, on the other hand, is not an RPG. While it has knives, which count as swords in a pinch, the closest it gets to Elves and magic are Russians.
I don't get the industry's obsession with people who don't like RPGs. Why make RPGs that play like action games? Why not make action games instead? - Vault Dweller

Finde ich nicht. Ist nur eben nichts wirklich neues. Kommt mir auch teils so vor, als wolle er keinen Zorn auf sich richten, weshalb er sich gemäßigter versucht, auszudrücken. :>

Es ist schonmal keine gute Idee, solch einen Artikel "Live-Check: Gemischte Gefühle" zu nennen und dann nur die Künstlichkeit des Ödlandes als negativen Punkt aufzuführen, um dann gleich wieder davon zu reden, dass zwei andere völlig unabhängige Dinge dafür wiederum entschädigen.
Wenn man sich die Kommentare dort kurz anschaut, dann glaube ich er hätte den Zorn der Leute nicht mal auf sich ziehen können wenn er einen illustrierten Artikel über sein Ekzem in der Leistengegend geschrieben hätte. Die Kommentare zu den Artikeln der Gamestar und PC Games waren da schon reichlich differenzierter.

Bei den Kommentaren des Gamestar- bzw. PC Games-Artikels hat es mich wirklich überrascht, wie viele dort skeptisch vor allem wegen der Perspektive und des Kampfsystems sind. Ich war nämlich auch immer fest der Meinung, dass dort nahezu nur Grafik-whores rumspringen.
